INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA) through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) invites duly-licensed Filipino Contractors who are a) sole proprietors; b)two or more suppliers forming into partnerships c) Corporations with largest single contract similar to the contract for bid for the last two years and with Net Financial Contracting Capacity (NFCC) at least equal to the approved budget to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:

Approved Budget for the Contract(ABC)	P 3,500,000.00
Source of Fund	Regular Fund & Income
Contract Duration	One (1)Year

Bidding procedures will be conducted using non-discretionary pass-fail criteria in the eligibility check, preliminary examination of bids, evaluation of bids, post qualification and award in accordance with R.A. 9184 and its implementing Rules and Regulations Part A.

The scheduled activities are listed, as follows:

b)Submission of Eligibility requirements	Not later than November 15, 2011
c)Issuance of Bidding Documents (upon payment of a non- refundable fee of P 5,000.00)
d)Pre- Bid Conference	October 28, 2011, 9:00 AM
e) Submission and Opening of Bids	November 15, 2011, 9:00 AM

The Letter of Intent (LOI) may be submitted to the BAC Secretariat at the DMA Bldg.
All activities stated above will be conducted at the Simulator Bldg, PMMA Complex,San Narciso, Zambales.

The PMMA reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process or to waive any defect or informality and to accept bids that may be considered most advantageous to the PMMA and to the government without incurring any liability to the affected bidder/s.
